Nahsville Flood 2010

Just wanted to post a quick blog just to let everyone know that I am safe and dry!! We have been in a state of emergency here in Middle Tennessee over the weekend. There have been massive flash floods and a few tornados, causing mass destruction all over the state! Please pray for everyone out here!!! Here are a few pictures of the damage!!

ACM Awards 2010

WOW!!!! This weekend was sooooo CRAZY!!! Where do I even start???? I got into Vegas on Saturday at 4 pm and we hit the ground running!!!! I went up and met my boss in his suite and waited for him to finish making Rhonda Adkins (Trace Adkins wife) look fabulous!!! Then we headed to a Villa at the MGM hotel to attend a quick party for Broken Bow Records.

Then we headed to a private party downstairs hosted by Justin Boots and Wrangler jeans. Where we hungout with Trace and Rhonda Adkins, Hollywood from American Gladiator and Chuck Wicks.

Then it was off to the Private Dr. Pepper Performance Party with Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Trace Adkins, Laura Bell Bundy and Sugarland. Where Trace and Blake we awarded the first ACM Award of the weekend for Vocal Performance of the Year where we had all access passes and hung out backstage.

And the night wasn't over yet!!!! After the Dr. Pepper party we were head to Harrahs for a party with Toby Keith at his bar I Love This Bar. We watched Randy Houser perform and hung out with Trace Adkins, Toby Keith, Joe Nichols, some NFL players and Robin Leach.

Then we finally went back to the hotel to catch a little sleep before we had to be up and styling for the actual awards on Sunday Morning. We styled so many fun beautiful women and men including...... The women from Justin Boots and Wrangler, Eric Church's wife Catherine, Teri Hendricks (her husband produced Hillbilly Bone by Trace Adkins and Blake Shelton), The NFL Players and their wives, Trace and Rhonda Adkins, Eddie Montgomery from Montgomery Gentry and many many more. I was super busy and didn't take very many picture of this process.

Once we were done working it was time to eat, catch some zzzz's and getting ready for the after party. We once again had all access passes and were lucky enough to hang out backstage in the artist lounge. It was so fun to see all of the performers in their own element away from the fans and paparazzi. The party was kind of an after concert for everyone who bought tickets to the Awards. So the artists performed for them and the screen behind the band was kind of like a one way mirror. We were seated at tables behind the screen and we could see the audience but they couldn't see us. It was a really neat experience!!!! Since we were in the holding area which was a "safe haven" for all the celebs I couldn't take any pictures of them but I did get some fun ones of the group I was with.

The next day when all the festivities were over I got some down time to spend with my dad, whom I haven't seen since I moved to Tennessee!! We took my new friend Lindsey around town with us because she had never been to Vegas. We shopped at Caesars Palace and Fashion Show Mall and then ate at Serendipity and then went to The Cirque Show Le Reve!!

My weekend was a blast to say the least!!! There are a ton more pictures on my facebook page so if you want to see them all you can check them out there!!! Next on my Tennessee Adventure is working a fashion show called Unpredictable. It is this coming Sunday so I will take lots of pictures and post again soon!!!! Love and Miss You All!!!

Easter

My Family has a HUGE Easter party every year down in St. George with all the Aunts, Uncles and cousins. I was sooo sad that I couldn't be a part of that this year. My mom sent me all of these cute pictures and it made me cry!!! But when I checked my mailbox today I had a little surprise. My Aunt Diane makes fun suckers every year and this year my mom saved me one of each flavor and sent them to me!!!  Thanks Mom!!! I will definitely be there next year!!!!!

Things are about to get CRAZY!!

The next couple of months are going to be a whirlwind!!!!! Next week I am heading to Vegas to do hair and makeup for the ACM awards. I'm super excited, it should be an amazing experience. We have passes to the Green Room and we are going to a party in the Pent House at The MGM. And I'm super excited that I will get to spend a day with my dad while i'm there too!!! Plus my mom will be in Nashville for 2 weeks partially for work and also to visit me!!! I'm definitely due for some much needed family time!!!

Then we have Freshly Unpredictable coming up on the 25th. It is an eclectic sold out fashion show that we will be doing hair and makeup at. On May 5th we will be getting the girls ready for the Titans Cheerleader Tryouts. It takes place at the Wild Horse Saloon and is open to the public so if y'all are in town come down and see us!!!! After the team is picked it's time to head to Destin, FL for the Titans Cheerleader Calender photo shoot!!! Wahooo can't wait to spend some time on the beach.

After that things will slow down for a minute and I get to see the FAM!!!! They are coming into town for a week and a half for the CMA Festival!!! I can't wait to show them around and take them to some fun parties!!! And of course I'm heading to Dallas for Seminar in July!!!!

Moved to Tennessee

Well I packed up all my things and moved 1600 miles across the country to Nashville TN. I miss my friends and family back home soooo much, but the people in TN are wonderful and I couldn't be happier. Thank you for everyones support!!!!
